We are looking for a bassist and lead guitarist with their own gear and available on thursday nights for auditions/practices. Our influences are mostly thrash/progressive metal (metallica, tool, machinehead, pantera, mudvayne, slipknot, slayer, maiden, etc...). We need someone who has 4-10 years of experience and preferrably out of high school and between the ages of 18-25. We have a couple completed originals and are working on covers for influential purposes and maybe to play at a couple gigs, but would mainly like to get a setlist of originals together to get a demo out and start playing gigs to get known
As bass goes we would like someone who can keep up with us and doesnt play one strings songs or dance around 3 notes the whole song.
Lead guitarist we are looking for needs to be a lead guitarist and that is the soloist of the group for we are trying to bring that back as it has died thanks to most of the 90s rock movements. Also we prefer the lead to be experienced with, but not need be, a wammy bar (bands like metallica, pantera, etc...).
Our sound ranges from hard rock to thrash metal, currently we have a random mix of songs just finding our sound and welcoming suggestions. We have recording capabilities in our jam session (drummers house) but have not finalized the exact science of recording. Also we would like to be able to one day get our own place as a band and just play music all the time and eventually get signed and tour the world playing music and experiencing life on the road.
